BREAKING NEWS: Authorities say police are investigating after a juvenile female was shot at least once in Moore, Oklahoma

Police say a juvenile female was taken to a hospital after being shot Tuesday morning in Moore.

Authorities told KOCO 5 that the shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. near Northwest 27th Street and Nottingham Way. 

A juvenile female was shot at least once in the abdomen and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Officers also detained a juvenile male and are working to determine how he is connected with the victim.

Police have not released the two juveniles' ages. 

They are investigating what led up to the shooting.
