Breaking: Active shooter at Destiny USA Mall, Syracuse, NY

There are multiple reports of active shooter at Destiny USA Mall.

Syracuse police department responded ro calls, the had to be placed on Lockdown and people evacuated.

An eyewitness, Andy said "At Destiny Mall. The shooting took place around 7:30. I was heading for the door and couldn't believe the mass panic and how the escalators were all full of people all trying to run out all at once. Maybe it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but it was such an unbelievable sight that I just had to get my phone out, but by the time I did, most of the people heading out were already out the door. I got a short video of a few of the last stragglers before I got kicked out by security."

Crystal said "There was a shooting at destiny mall .. my daughter just called cuz she locked In there.

She scared and shaking. But she safe now .. the hid in a store and they locked everyone in ..definitely scary for her"

After investigation, police said shooting at the Destiny USA mall Saturday night appears to have been teens with a BB gun.

Diamond View Briefly Locked Down While Police Investigate Threat

There were some scary moments Wednesday morning for Diamond View School students, staff and parents, after the Susanville Police Department received a report of a student who may have brought a firearm to school’s campus, which was immediately placed on a ‘lockdown status.’ “Officers arrived and met with the school principal, who identified the student,” explains Interim Chief of Police Michael Bengoa-Bollinger. “It was learned no gun was ever observed, and it was a ‘statement’ that had been overheard by the reporting students while on the bus to school this morning.” School officials and officers contacted the student away from the other children and found no firearm in the student’s possession.
