It's not known of the wound was self-inflicted or from responding law enforcement.
The apparent police shooting was subsequent to a pursuit that ended in East Wenatchee at Eastmont Avenue and Fancher Way after the suspect reportedly drove over spike strips.
At least one hotel in the Olds Station area of Wenatchee is on lockdown tonight due to what's reported to be an active shooter situation at or near the Confluence Technology Center (CTC) or the Veterans Affairs Building.
A 'shelter in place' alert has also been issued to nearby residents.
Sleep Inn & Suites at Penny Rd. and Technology Center Way informed Source ONE News that they were on lockdown due to the unfolding incident across the the field from them.
Reports on social media that were heard over the scanner, a confirmation by RiverCom 911 and firefighters say an individual was reportedly shooting a gun at some point late Sunday. The shooter evidently shot at either the CTC building or the VA building after threatening his brother with a gun.
The supposed gunman is also backing his truck into the VA or CTC; the degree of damage to the building is unknown at this time.
The brother has reportedly escaped the situation and is with law enforcement at the Cashmere Valley Bank nearby.
