Reports of active shooter at Woodland Hills Mall, Tulsa, Oklahoma

There are reports of active shooter at Woodland Hills Mall, Tulsa Oklahoma.

Many are reporting that it was an active shooter.

An eyewitness said "I heard something and saw people running to the other end is the mall so I joined them. All the stores were closing their doors and the only way out was the main exits. Police are still coming."

Another one said "I was sitting in the food court, there was a group of 10-12 teens that just started running from the east side of the mall through the food court towards the exit for no apparent reason. Some of them were laughing, seemingly wanting to instigate mass panic. Which they did, and everyone else started running."

However, Tulsa Police Department said it was not an active shooter.

They released the following statement:

"🚨 SHOOTING AT WOODLAND HILL MALL 🚨

We have numerous Officers on the scene at Woodland Hills Mall.

This was NOT an Active Shooter.

Two people were arguing just outside of one of the north exterior doors of the mall, the argument turned into a fight and the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim.

The victim has been transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspect fled the mall through the parking lot. We don't have any indication that the suspect is still on mall property.

For those who are in hiding within the mall, it is safe to exit through the Southern doors."
