There were reports of an active shooter threat at Vernon memorial Hospital, Wisconsin.
The suspect was reportedly threatening to shoot up the hospital and it's staff.
Law enforcement agencies were called to the hospital and the hospital was placed on temporary lockdown.
Suspect was located, no weapons found, VMH will be off of lockdown & everybody is safe.
The Vernon Memorial Hospital released the following statement:
"Tonight, our hospital experienced a situation that required attention. We want to assure our community that the well-being of our staff and patients remains our top priority. We extend our sincere gratitude to the local police department for their swift response in helping to address the matter.
Our team continues to maintain a secure environment for everyone in our care. We want to emphasize that there is no ongoing threat, and measures are in place to ensure the continued safety of our community."
