Currently, there is a large emergency response underway after a B1 Bomber crashed outside the Ellsworth Air Force Base in Box Elder, South Dakota.
Ellsworth Air Force Base Public Affairs has confirmed an incident on the base tonight.
Fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, where multiple witnesses reported hearing numerous explosions.
Reports indicate that the four crew members successfully ejected and are safe.
The incident has been contained to the base, and investigators are currently on the scene.
A four-person crew from Ellsworth Air Force Base is safe after ejecting from their B-1B Lancer according to a statement from Ellsworth Public Affairs, the incident occurred during the B-1B's landing attempt at Ellsworth.
The crew was engaged in a training mission at the time. Numerous witnesses reported hearing explosions that were audible across the city of Box Elder.
The Air Force is currently investigating the crash.
