Breaking: Reports of an Active shooter on First Floor of Atrium Hospital, Macon, Georgia

There are multiple reports of active shooter on First Floor of Atrium Hospital, Macon, Georgia.

Some reports said that the shooter was locked in a bathroom on the first floor and has been apprehended.

Employee at thehospital said "I took off yesterday, but I should have stayed home tonight with this active shooter going on here at work, we're Praying for a safe outcome for everyone here tonight 🙏🙏🙏🙏"

Another worker said "Yes im up here lock in, children hospital they made us go inside room and can’t come out til they say so"

Another account said "where you at? I'm in the Heart Tower between elevator bays. They won't let us move anywhere and we really just in the open"

The Hospital is still on Lockdown.

Some reports said the suspect shot himself.

A parent who is in the hospital said "I’m in Macon at the hospital, it’s a active shooter here, Navicent, I’m here checking on my daughter she work there, somebody is shot, but we don’t know who, please pray y’all for the people that work there and there families, lord have mercy!!!"

Diamond View Briefly Locked Down While Police Investigate Threat

There were some scary moments Wednesday morning for Diamond View School students, staff and parents, after the Susanville Police Department received a report of a student who may have brought a firearm to school’s campus, which was immediately placed on a ‘lockdown status.’ “Officers arrived and met with the school principal, who identified the student,” explains Interim Chief of Police Michael Bengoa-Bollinger. “It was learned no gun was ever observed, and it was a ‘statement’ that had been overheard by the reporting students while on the bus to school this morning.” School officials and officers contacted the student away from the other children and found no firearm in the student’s possession.
