BREAKING: A thunderstorm warning is in place for parts of Western Australia, with residents urged to prepare for severe weather conditions

A thunderstorm warning is in place for parts of WA, with residents urged to prepare for severe weather conditions.

Residents in parts of Western Australia are on high alert as a severe thunderstorm warning blankets several districts, urging individuals to prepare for potentially hazardous weather conditions. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued the warning for areas including the Great Southern, Central Wheat Belt, Gascoyne, South West, South Coastal, and Central West Districts.

The locations that may be affected by this impending weather system include Katanning, Merredin, Mount Barker, Narrogin, Southern Cross, and Wagin. The Bureau of Meteorology has specifically highlighted the likelihood of damaging winds sweeping across the state in the coming hours.

In response to the warning, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has issued crucial guidelines to ensure the safety of residents. For those outdoors, staying away from trees, powerlines, stormwater drains, and streams is advised. Indoors, residents are urged to close curtains and blinds, stay away from windows, unplug electrical appliances, and avoid using landlines during lightning strikes.

One critical cautionary note from DFES is to avoid driving through water of unknown depth, emphasizing the potential dangers associated with floodwaters during severe weather events.

As the situation unfolds, the SES (State Emergency Service) stands ready to assist in the event of severe damage to homes. Residents can contact SES at 132 500 for support and assistance.

The severity of the thunderstorm warning underscores the importance of proactive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of the community. Western Australians are encouraged to stay informed about the weather updates, follow safety guidelines diligently, and reach out to emergency services if needed.

As the state prepares for the impact of this weather event, continued vigilance and preparedness remain paramount to effectively navigate through the challenges posed by severe thunderstorms.

The Christian nationalist says p*rnography must be outlawed because everyone who participates in or views it knows that they are violating “the holy character of God” in doing so. Republican Senator new bill is seeking 20 YEARS in prison for WATCHING p*rn.  However, he put a loophole in that married couples can still send each other explicit images. Sen. Dusty Deevers is waging "spiritual warfare" to outlaw p*rnography because he says those who use/produce it are under a demonic "power that they aren't able to control." The ‘Pro-Life’ Lawmaker also Seeks To Penalize Abortions With Death Penalty Senator Dusty Deevers (R) has introduced legislation that seeks to classify abortion as murder, a move that represents an escalation...
