NATO's most extensive exercise since the Cold War, "Steadfast Defender 2024," is underway.
Kicking things off, Germany and France are leading the Capability Coalition for Integrated Air and Missile Defense.
"Our goal is to provide long-term support with the most modern systems, the best training, and sustainable structures, interoperable with the NATO armed forces."
NATO's months-long exercise across Europe is a strategic show of strength involving 90,000 troops, 50 naval vessels, 80 aircraft, and over 1,100 combat vehicles.
