Update, Images and video compilation from the Explosion at the Sandman Signature Hotel, Downtown, Fort Worth, Texas

Multiple people have been injured following an explosion at the Sandman Signature hotel in downtown Fort Worth in Texas, according to the AP.

Investigators said they believe the blast was caused by natural gas.

No fatalities have been reported so far.

CBS spoke to a man who was in the hotel at the time of the explosion and said there was a smell of natural gas before the explosion and he remembered asking one of his teammates, 'Do you smell natural gas?'

He said the scent wasn't strong, but they smelled it. He said the smell came from beneath them.

CBS reporter said natural gas can still be smelled in the area.

Initial reports said 10 injured confirmed.

Police: "We are currently working on a Major Incident. Please avoid the downtown area. PIOs are on the scene. We will share more details as soon as we can confirm more information."

Latest reports from Reuters said at least 21 people are injured.

Of the 21 people injured, one person was in critical condition, while four others had serious but not life threatening injuries.

Nobody was killed in the explosion.

Video images from the scene showed rubble in the street between two buildings with first responders on the scene.
