All the three U.S. service members killed in a drone attack in Jordan have been promoted posthumously
The last of the three U.S. service members killed in a drone attack in Jordan was promoted posthumously on Friday.
Sgt. William Rivers has been promoted Posthumously by the U.S Army to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He was one of the 3 U.S. soldiers killed on January 28, 2024 in a drone attack at their base in Jordan.
The other deceased soldiers, Sgts. Kennedy Sanders and Breonna Moffett were also promoted after their death.
Their remains is expected to be returned on Friday.
The U.S. has since retaliated the attack, hitting more than 80 targets in Syria and Iraq.
