Australian researchers are developing a water sample test that can track shark DNA, to tell whether one is swimming nearby.
It's hoped the technology could be used to keep swimmers safe.
This could be a really good development, it could help reduce shark attack and reduce risk for swimmers.
However, sharks are very fast underwater, this technological development better alert swimmers when the shark is many meters away.
