Update: AT&T’s network suffered a widespread outages across the country Thursday morning with cellular service and internet down, according to the tracking site Downdetector.
Verizon said Thursday morning that the outages are not impacting their network directly, but are impacting their customers trying to reach another carrier experiencing the issue.
T-Mobile also said early Thursday that the network didn't suffer an outage and is operating normally, and Downdetector numbers likely reflect customers attempting to reach users on other networks.
UPDATE: AT&T said Thursday morning that the company is experiencing a cellular outage that began before dawn and affected phone service across the country.
“Some of our customers are experiencing wireless service interruptions this morning,” the company said in a statement. “We are working urgently to restore service to them. We encourage the use of Wi-Fi calling until service is restored.”

WIDESPREAD CELL OUTAGE HITS THE U.S
In what could possibly be a cyber attack on the U.S, outages are being reported across multiple service providers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular.
It appears ATT customers are reporting outages nationwide.
Most customers cannot make or receive calls, but texting appears to be working.
The AT&T website also appears to be down for some customers.
The website Downdetector.com has reported more than 32,000 outage reports Thursday morning.
The most reported problems are in Los Angeles, Dallas, San Diego, Houston, San Antonio, Honolulu, Chicago, San Francisco and Atlanta.
Downdetector.com is also reporting roughly 1,500 outage reports for Verizon servies as well.
This outage is mostly said to be impacting Philadelphia, Chicago, Brooklyn, Houston, New York City, Dallas, Los Angeles, Spokane, San Ramon.
There were reports that the outage also impacted FirstNet, which is a public safety arm of AT&T.
