Developing: Russia arrests Los Angeles woman, with U.S. and Russian citizenship, on suspicion of treason for helping Ukraine
Russia's FSB security services said they had arrested a Los Angeles woman, with US-Russian citizenship on suspicion of treason for funding the Ukrainian army, Russian state media reported.
The FSB in the central Urals city of Yekaterinburg said it had “suppressed the illegal activities” of a 33-year-old woman, a resident of Los Angeles with dual citizenship, and taken her into custody.
The woman is also accused of raising fund for Ukraine Army.
She is accused of using the raised fund to buy ammunition, equipments, medical supplies, for the Ukraine forces.
However, the reports indicated that she didn't commit the treasonable act in Russian but in the U.S.
