Hezbollah claims to have targeted the Mount Meron air traffic control base for a second time today

In a statement, the terror group says it targeted the base with anti-tank missiles at around 3:45 p.m., causing damage.

No rocket sirens sounded at that time.

The IDF has not yet publicly commented on the claims, although there are no reports of injuries from attacks on northern Israel today.

Earlier today, Hezbollah fired some 35 rockets at the base, causing no damage as many of the projectiles were intercepted and others hit open areas.

Some 20 rockets were fired from Lebanon at the Western Galilee a short while ago, according to the IDF.

Some intercepted by the Iron Dome, others hit open areas.

There are no reports of damage or injuries.

Diamond View Briefly Locked Down While Police Investigate Threat

There were some scary moments Wednesday morning for Diamond View School students, staff and parents, after the Susanville Police Department received a report of a student who may have brought a firearm to school’s campus, which was immediately placed on a ‘lockdown status.’ “Officers arrived and met with the school principal, who identified the student,” explains Interim Chief of Police Michael Bengoa-Bollinger. “It was learned no gun was ever observed, and it was a ‘statement’ that had been overheard by the reporting students while on the bus to school this morning.” School officials and officers contacted the student away from the other children and found no firearm in the student’s possession.
