New footage of #TaylorSwift's dad coming face to face with paparazzi in Australia has surfaced.
Taylor Swift's father Scott Swift has been accused of assaulting a photographer in Sydney early this morning after her final Australian show of the Eras Tour.
An Australian photographer has filed a police complaint against Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, for allegedly punching him as the superstar left a concert afterparty in Sydney.
Ben McDonald said he provided police with a statement alleging that Scott Swift assaulted him at the Neutral Bay Wharf, where the father and daughter had just come ashore from a yacht.
Taylor Swift’s representative did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment. But a spokesperson for the star told Rolling Stone magazine that at the time of the incident, two people were “aggressively pushing” to get to Taylor Swift, grabbed security and threatened a member of the singer’s staff.
In the new video, Scott clutches his superstar daughter's hand as she walks along while covering her torso with an umbrella. Chaos quickly ensues ... with Taylor's security detail attempting to create a clear path to an awaiting vehicle for the father and daughter ... who had just left a yacht after arriving from Homebush.
Taylor is seen blindly crawling into the back of the vehicle as paparazzi attempt to get a perfect shot. That's when you can see Scott go around toward the back of the vehicle -- where other paps are -- and some kind of scuffle appears to unfold behind the door.
Again, it's impossible to tell from this shot what went down -- but you do see some activity back there ... and Scott is in the vicinity, as are other security guards.
#TaylorSwift's father, #ScottSwift, has been accused of attacking a paparazzo in #Australia -- and now cops are looking into it.
