Police have arrested a man in connection with the death of two people found inside a Rosewater home today.

About 1.20pm on Saturday 3 February, police were called to a home on Rosetta Street after a man and woman were found deceased inside the property.

The 76-year-old woman and 55-year-old man had sustained significant injuries.

Western District CIB along with Major Crime Detectives and Forensic Response attended the scene.

Detectives subsequently arrested a 43-year-old man of no fixed address. He has been charged with two counts of murder and will appear before the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 5 February.

No other suspects are being sought at this time and the incident is not believed to be random.
