Seven Israelis wounded in rocket strikes in the northern city of Safed, following a barrage fired from Lebanon.
The Magen David Adom ambulance service says three are listed in moderate condition, while the other four are lightly hurt.
Update: MDA's director general Eli Bin says one person is killed in the rocket attack from Lebanon.
The IDF confirms rockets were fired from Lebanon at the Northern Command HQ base in Safed.
"Numerous launches were identified crossing from Lebanon into the areas of Netu'a, Menara, and into an IDF base in northern Israel," the IDF says, adding that it is striking the launch sites.
Ziv Hospital in Safed says eight people are wounded in the rocket attack from Lebanon, including one in serious condition.
The IDF says it has launched a widespread wave of airstrikes in Lebanon.

The IDF announces the death of a soldier killed in a rocket attack from Lebanon on an army base in northern Israel earlier today.
She is named as Staff Sgt. Omer Sarah Benjo, 20, of the 91st Division's 869th Combat Intelligence Collection unit, from Ge'a.
A reservist of the Computer Service Directorate was seriously wounded, and several more soldiers were moderately and lightly hurt in the rocket strike.
