RUSSIA CONDEMNS U.S ATTACKS ON SYRIA AND IRAQ

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson:

“We condemn the U.S strikes on Syria and Iraq and call for an urgent meeting of the Security Council. American air strikes on the territories of Iraq and Syria are a complete disregard by Washington for the standards of international law.

It is clear that the U.S air strikes are specifically designed to inflame the conflict in the region. Washington claims that it is attacking groups it claims are loyal to Iran in Iraq and Syria, but it is trying to plunge the countries of the region into the conflict.

Attempts to flex muscles in the region aim to influence the American internal political situation. These attacks also reflect the desire to somehow correct the failed course of the current U.S administration on the international scene.

Washington is not looking for solutions to problems in the region and has always been satisfied with the escalation of tension in the Middle East.”

Diamond View Briefly Locked Down While Police Investigate Threat

There were some scary moments Wednesday morning for Diamond View School students, staff and parents, after the Susanville Police Department received a report of a student who may have brought a firearm to school’s campus, which was immediately placed on a ‘lockdown status.’ “Officers arrived and met with the school principal, who identified the student,” explains Interim Chief of Police Michael Bengoa-Bollinger. “It was learned no gun was ever observed, and it was a ‘statement’ that had been overheard by the reporting students while on the bus to school this morning.” School officials and officers contacted the student away from the other children and found no firearm in the student’s possession.
