"America is the main sponsor of organized terrorism in the world. The Popular Front condemns the brutal American bombing of Iraq.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned with the strongest terms the brutal American bombing that targeted the Iraqi capital, "Baghdad," resulting in the martyrdom of the leaders of Katabed Hezbollah of Iraq, Abu Baqir Al-Saadi, and Arkan Al-Aliawi.

This new criminal aggression on the sovereignty of Iraq and targeting its sons and leaders reaffirms that America is the main sponsor of organized terrorism in the world and the principal partner of the zionist entity in its crimes against the peoples of the region.

The Front emphasized that this American crime did not and will not go without response and will further motivate the peoples of the region and their resistance to unite and open all options to confront the zionist-American aggression in the region, targeting it with all available means of resistance until its departure from our Arab lands and ceasing its support for the zionist entity against the Palestinian people.

The Front expressed its full solidarity with the brothers in Iraq and the Iraqi resistance against this blatant aggression, which will not achieve its goals, and American and Western bases and interests will remain legitimate targets for the resistance in the region."

Diamond View Briefly Locked Down While Police Investigate Threat

There were some scary moments Wednesday morning for Diamond View School students, staff and parents, after the Susanville Police Department received a report of a student who may have brought a firearm to school’s campus, which was immediately placed on a ‘lockdown status.’ “Officers arrived and met with the school principal, who identified the student,” explains Interim Chief of Police Michael Bengoa-Bollinger. “It was learned no gun was ever observed, and it was a ‘statement’ that had been overheard by the reporting students while on the bus to school this morning.” School officials and officers contacted the student away from the other children and found no firearm in the student’s possession.
