At least 30,410 Palestinians have been killed and 71,700 injured in Israel’s military offensive on Gaza since Oct. 7, the Gaza health ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
International pressure for a ceasefire has grown, with more than 30,000 Palestinians killed in Israel’s Gaza offensive, according to Gaza health authorities, and the UN warning that a quarter of the population is one step away from famine.
Israel launched the offensive in response to the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas, in which 1,200 people were killed in Israel and another 253 abducted, according to Israeli tallies.
