Developing: Drive by shooting in King city, 6 shot



There is report of drive by shooting in King city where 6 people were shot.


There is no official report about the incident yet.


But some reports said 4 are dead.


Drew Tipton, former Greenfield city council member said "We are aware of the developing situation in King City.

There should be official announcements soon from KCPD.


Until then, please stay away from King City and let the first responders and law enforcement do their jobs and deal with the victims of this event and find the person or people who did this."

Some places like Mee Memorial are on Lockdown as we await official statement about the incident. 

The killing is suspected to be gang related.

Reports said 4 dead, 1 woman 3 men and three people taken to Natividad hospital.

According to King City police, at least four people were killed in the shooting on N 2nd St., near the intersection of Lynn St. Currently police believe that seven people were shot in total.


The victims were only identified as being a woman and three men. All of the people killed were adults, police noted. Three people were taken to Natividad.

Police reported that the shooting happened at a home where several people were out front.

Additional reports said the incident happened at a King City birthday party, Three gunman wearing dark clothing & masks approach party and open fire, getaway car described as silver Kia. Happened around 6pm on 200 block 2nd street.

Linda Atilano said " I live here in kc and it was a drive by shooting at a house party, bunch of helicopters going around atm."

David Westrick said "Praying for our neighbors just down Hwy 25 in King City. Don’t know the official details but sounds like multiple shot and some fatalities. Rough night for sure."
