Developing: Reports of Active shooter at family medicine in Evansville

There are multiple reports of active shooter at active shooter at family medicine in Evansville.

Initial reports said lockdown has been initiated.

A person in the hospital said "Active shooter @ DeaconessFamily Medicine. ...they got us on lockdown @ the hospital...Need all prayer warriors on deck for our city🙏🏿"

Another staff said "I got the alert to my phone probably 30 minutes ago I was off today but I'm happy everyone is okay and they just sent out another alert that is all clear"

Update we are getting said, this appears to be a false alarm. No active shooter was seen or located.

This possibly originated as a shots fired call by someone who thought they heard gunshots in the area of the hospital.

Diamond View Briefly Locked Down While Police Investigate Threat

There were some scary moments Wednesday morning for Diamond View School students, staff and parents, after the Susanville Police Department received a report of a student who may have brought a firearm to school’s campus, which was immediately placed on a ‘lockdown status.’ “Officers arrived and met with the school principal, who identified the student,” explains Interim Chief of Police Michael Bengoa-Bollinger. “It was learned no gun was ever observed, and it was a ‘statement’ that had been overheard by the reporting students while on the bus to school this morning.” School officials and officers contacted the student away from the other children and found no firearm in the student’s possession.
