After an 18 hour man hunt, Pedro Torices has been brought into custody and is currently at the Wolfe County Sheriffs Office awaiting to be transported to ThreeForks Regional Jail!.
Initial report:
Wolfe County and Breathitt County schools are on lockdown due to an active shooter in the Bethany area of Wolfe County.
Schools, courthouses and others are on lockdown due to an active shooter that was in the Bethany area.
Suspect has fled the scene in a white Chevy pickup Heading towards Breathitt.
Officials said the incident happened on KY-15 North.
Wolfe County school officials shared a post on social media stating, “Suspect is still at large.
We were told suspect was possibly in a white Chevrolet pickup.”
Three additional school districts have gone into lockdown while police continue to search for a reported shooting suspect.
