School officials said there was never a threat after a false 911 report was made about an active shooter at Istrouma High School.
The false report was made Monday morning, March 4, and prompted a campus lockdown.
The situation happened after a parent came on campus without the permission of the school, officials said. They added that police immediately responded to the campus and confirmed there was no actual threat.
School officials said they are working on a revamped security and safety plan to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
