President Biden apologizes for calling the suspect in the murder of college student Laken Riley an illegal
President Joe Biden said Saturday that he regrets using the term "illegal" during his State of the Union address to describe the suspected killer of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley.
"An undocumented person. And I shouldn’t have used 'illegal.' It’s 'undocumented,'" Biden says.

"Well, I probably shouldn't -- I don't re-- technically he's not supposed to be here," Biden told the reporter, stopping and starting throughout his answer.
"Laken Riley, an innocent young woman who was killed," Biden started before Greene yelled out, "By an illegal."
"By an illegal. That's right," Biden repeated before expressing his condolences to her family”
