The woman said the man was driving a silver pickup truck that was unmarked.
"It had a K9 sticker on the back and kept weaving in and out of traffic," she explained.
She said when he stopped her and he came to the window, he was in plain clothing. She described it as 'golf attire.'
"He had on a hat that said Alabama State Trooper, like a ball cap," she said.
She explained the man never asked her for her license, but said he ran her tag and was going to take her to jail.
"He told me he was going to take me to jail for reckless driving and speeding and have my jeep towed and he was going to arrest me," she elaborated.
She tells ABC 33/40 she had several questions for the man in which he couldn't provide answers to or show her proof of his identity.
"I asked him to give me his badge number or show me a badge, he couldn't do that. I asked for a card, he wouldn't give me a card he said he didn't have to provide any of those things," the woman said. "When I questioned the lights as to when they weren't blue, he asked me to get out of the car and come with him to the back of the truck so he could show me the lights on the black were blue, I did not, I said no."
The woman described the lights as white and a gold/amber color. She said she made the decision to roll her window up and drive off. She called her husband and filed a report with Trussville Police Department.
Trussville Police confirmed a report was made.
The woman said she also contacted Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Springville's police chief.
Chief Wayne Walton said their department is aware and is looking for this person.
ABC 33/40 did reach out to ALEA but at the time of publish, no information about the incident was provided.
Several law enforcement agencies confirmed to ABC 33/40 there is a 'BOLO' for the silver truck said to be involved.
