In his manifesto Max Azzarello argues that the U.S. government is part of a secret kleptocracy, misleading the public through divisive politics and manufactured crises to maintain control.
He points to cultural references and media, from "The Simpsons" to "Seinfeld," as methods used by the elite to condition the public into passivity and cynicism towards societal issues.
He suggests that these elements are part of a broader scheme to prepare the populace for a fascist takeover by eroding trust in institutions and promoting existential despair.

The protestor who set himself on fire was distributing pamphlets titled “The True History of the World” and published an online manifesto where he explained why he was taking such an extreme act.
“My name is Max Azzarello, and I am an investigative researcher who has set himself on fire outside of the Trump trial in Manhattan.
This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery:
We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.”
