Update:Here is the ex-wife of Elias Huizar:

Amber Marie Rodriguez and Ex-cop’ Elias Huizar divorced in 2020. 


Amber Marie Rodriguez claimed Huizar has been harassing her since the divorce and says he is mentally and emotionally unstable. 




Update: "And now we're off to West Richland in Washington State where this subject Elias Huizar was a police officer for 9 years in the city of Yakima in Washington State. The subject was arrested for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl. He had court today and it was when he killed his girlfriend and then killed his ex wife and kidnapped his son.


Guy is armed and very dangerous. He has plenty of gun training and lots of police training. The subject is a fugitive and the last information we have is that he is on his way to Mexico to evade justice with his baby.


Please if you see them dial 911. The car he used during the murders of the 2 women was a silver Toyota Camry/Corolla with Washington plates.. If you see it please don't face it. We don't know if he's still in that car or another one was stolen.

There is reported case of a man who shot his wife in front of William Wiley Elementary school, West Richland, Washington.

The suspect left the scene after committing the crime and police went after him.

His wife has been found dead after he shot her.

Several schools around the area have been placed on Lockdown. 

People were asked to stay inside and keep doors locked.

The suspect was a former Yakima police officer Elias Huizar, 40, and is considered armed and dangerous and is likely to commit another crime.

Update: A second person was found dead at the suspect's home following the shooting at William Wiley Elementary School.

West Richland police department released the following statement:

"Huizar Manhunt - 

Update:  While serving a search warrant at the residence of homicide suspect Elias Huizar, West Richland Police Detectives and partner agencies discovered a second crime scene. A second homicide victim was found inside the residence. No information about the victim’s identity is being released at this time, except to say that it is not Huizar but that the victim is a known associate of the suspect. 


Investigators believe that Huizar is armed and considered dangerous, and is likely to commit more crimes. 


We are asking for the public’s help in locating Huizar. We continue to search for a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla with Washington plates CBZ4745.  


Anyone who sees the vehicle or the suspect should call 911 and refer to the West Richland homicide case."

Update: Amber Alert: The suspect Elias Huizar took the baby of his 17 year-old girlfriend after he killed her.


It was reported that this all took place while he was out on bail on charges of child r*pe


His Ex-wife's kid was found safe after he killed her in front of West Richland Elementary school.

He is still at large, armed and dangerous, driving a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla with Washington plates CBZ4745.
