Plashet Grove, East Ham fatal crash: Man dies in hospital

In a tragic turn of events, a pedestrian has lost his life following a collision involving a car in East Ham. The incident unfolded on the evening of April 22, prompting a swift response from emergency services in an effort to save the victim.

According to reports, paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to Plashet Grove at 7:49 p.m. after receiving distressing calls about a crash. The severity of the situation warranted the dispatch of London's Air Ambulance, along with additional medical personnel in fast response vehicles.

Within a mere five minutes of the emergency call, the first responders arrived at the scene near the junction with Katherine Road. There, they encountered a man suffering from injuries sustained in the collision. Despite their immediate efforts to stabilize him, the victim's condition remained critical.

Subsequently, officers from the Metropolitan Police swiftly arrived at the scene at 8:06 p.m. Their arrival was crucial as they assisted in administering life-saving CPR to the injured pedestrian, working in conjunction with the medical team from London's Air Ambulance. Despite their valiant efforts, the victim's injuries proved fatal.
