During the printed voting debate in Brazil, several left-wing figures campaigning against the proposal with the hashtag VotoImpressoNão were targeted.
These include federal representatives Luiza Erundina, Tábata Amaral, and Joenia Wapichana, who is the current president of the National Foundation of Indigenous Peoples (Funai).
State representative Erica Malunguinho and influencers Lázaro Rosa and FalaMuka were also affected.
The anonymous account Jairme, used for political activism against Bolsonaro, faced legal challenges aimed at unmasking its user due to accusations of irregular political propaganda. Despite debates over the ethics of anonymous online activism, the profile remains unidentified, but its involvement might have led to data sharing.
Representatives Alessandro Molon and Sâmia Bomfim also used the hashtag but outside the designated monitoring period by the Federal Police.
