Two men taken to hospital following slurry incident in Co Antrim cow shed

A routine day on a farm in Co Antrim took a dangerous turn as two men were rushed to the hospital following an incident involving slurry gases. The two men affected by the incident—one in his 30s and the other in his 60s—were promptly transported to the hospital for treatment, highlighting the serious health implications of exposure to hazardous gases present in slurry. The closure of the Old Glenarm Road from Croft Road to Branch Road allowed emergency responders to effectively manage the situation and ensure the safety of both the affected individuals and the surrounding community.
