A leaked internal memo from senior officials to Blinken revealed they do not find Israel’s assurances they are using U.S supplied weapons in accordance with international law “credible or reliable.”
Four bureaus had “serious concerns over non-compliance” by Israel, citing eight examples that raised “serious questions” about potential violations of international law.
According to a National Security Memorandum, Blinken must tell Congress by May 8th whether the assurances he’s received from Israel are credible.
