Developing: Dublin Primary School, BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. is on lockdown following mini mart armed robbery

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects following an armed robbery at Dublin Mini Mart Thursday morning, May 2.

The tranquility of a typical Thursday morning was shattered in Bladen County as reports of an armed robbery at Dublin Mini Mart sent shockwaves through the community. According to the Bladen County Sheriff's Office, the armed robbery occurred at approximately 8 a.m., with two masked individuals, described as black males, wielding what appeared to be a black possible 9mm firearm. The harrowing ordeal unfolded swiftly, leaving the clerk at Dublin Mini Mart shaken but thankfully unharmed. The suspects, clad in red and black hoodies, made a swift exit on foot towards Hursey Street, heightening concerns among residents and authorities alike.

In response to the unfolding situation, precautionary measures were implemented to ensure the safety of the community, particularly students and staff at nearby educational institutions.
