Developing: Kidnapping incident at 9200 block of S. Broadway in Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Colorado

We need the public’s help locating a person of interest in a kidnapping incident that happened just before 7 p.m. Friday night.

The victim reported being threatened with a handgun and being forced to drive from the 9200 block of S. Broadway in Highlands Ranch to Broadway and Chenango in Englewood.

The victim was not physically injured.

This person of interest is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, with stubbly facial hair, a tattoo on the left side of his face, a tattoo on his index finger.

He was wearing a black hat, brown or tan boots, a black zip up hoodie, and had a dark bicycle. Please call (303) 660-7500 if you see this person or know who he is.

Diamond View Briefly Locked Down While Police Investigate Threat

There were some scary moments Wednesday morning for Diamond View School students, staff and parents, after the Susanville Police Department received a report of a student who may have brought a firearm to school’s campus, which was immediately placed on a ‘lockdown status.’ “Officers arrived and met with the school principal, who identified the student,” explains Interim Chief of Police Michael Bengoa-Bollinger. “It was learned no gun was ever observed, and it was a ‘statement’ that had been overheard by the reporting students while on the bus to school this morning.” School officials and officers contacted the student away from the other children and found no firearm in the student’s possession.
